ericemckee How odd to not be able to explain why this resonates. It's definitely triggering doom-flavored dopamine receptors, sludgy without the sludge, it's a crisp and sturdy majestic noise anthem. Favorite track: potomac.

about

This album is a new sonic exploration for me. Use of guitar samples, distortion pedals, and distorted synths to develop an ambient drone with feedback and noise. recorded 2011-2012. I used various amps, pedals, guitars and basses, Line6 m13, Native Instruments Absynth 4, Kontakt 4, and Guitar Rig. All was processed and mixed down using Sonar 8.5.

The concept and structure of each song is based on a specific watershed or river and named accordingly. Inspired the drone metal of Earth and Sunn O))).
